This was the return mail address on an offer from Optima to "reinstate" my credit if I would pay a whopping bill that I never owed. They gave me a "payment coupon" and window envelope to a PO Box 956842 in St. Louis 63195. This is some kind of trick to re-age old, "zombie" debt I think.

Don't fall for the collection tricks you have rights and they always break the law.Find a collection attorney and file the papers!

I called AmEx (the 800 number on their website). They said this was due to a glitch in their system and they would clear it up. No such luck. The calls got worse, 3 different robot calls with 2 different phone numbers. I'm on the phone with a lawyer right now. If you do call, make sure you clearly state you DISPUTE the call. I also just mailed a cease and desist letter certified.

Dont ever call them back.

Call an 800 number exposes your phone number regardless if you block it.

Dont ever give anyone your last 4 of your SS.

This is actually NCO Financial calling you, not AMEX.

Sue NCO for $1,000 per call and then sue AMEX for $1,000 after you have told them to Cease and Desist from calling you via a certified letter with return receipt.

Report each call to DONOTCALL.gov.

STOP CALLING THEM BACK.

Get a call blocking program if you have to.

Take control of your phone.

Sue these MF in court.

Stop being lazy.

Posting 6 pages on here of the same thing, does not solve anything or makes them stop.

NEVER CALL BACK A COLLECTOR or an 800 number from a CC.
