help! Debt Management Company offering payment plans

My husband and I are in debt and lost some income recently. We were floating until the loss of income. We now are sinking! We have contacted a debt settlement company. We would have chosen the debt management, but we have too much debt and we couldn't afford the payment that they are offering. If you have done debt settlement before and it worked out for the best for you, please reply! I need encouragement! I feel like a failure! Thank you for your replies.


I know it can be tough. I have been their and it ca n sure feel that way .You are NOT a failure . Sometimes bad things happen to good people. You were smart to consider debt management but as you see it won`t help if you are overextended. debt settlement seems like your best option from what you have described.Debt Settlement does work as long as you stick with it. Be sure to check any company out with the BBB to make sure they have a good reputation. May I ask what settlement company you were speaking with and how long of a program you were considering? I have done debt settlement before and I have also worked in the credit card , credit counseling and settlement industry for years.
