Cash Transfer Center 500.00 - they will debit 630.00 from my account next friday 6/27
The Cash Store original loan was 800.00 - not sure exactly how much i have paid. Opened Feb 28. I now owe 575.00 plus CSO fee of 117.58.

Hello and welcome to the community. :) You might want to call your bank, speak to the Branch Manager, and tell them you need a hard debit block placed on that account asap. This way at least your money will be secure until you can make some type of arrangements with these companies. Meanwhile, I am going to post your pdl laws and research the companies listed to see if they are licensed anywhere. :)

Most payday loan companies operating in Texas are actually CSO's (Credit Service Organizations), meaning the laws posted above would not apply.

I am mostly worried about the internet lenders. The Cash Store is a CSO and they are members of CFSA so it looks like i can make payment arrangements with them.
I did fax CMG and The Loan Shop a letter revoking authorization to debit my account. I have not heard anything from them yet. We will see what happens.
I have not done anything with Magnum and Cash Transfer Centers. I dont really know where to start here.
I have to go to Bank of America and talk to the manager there to shut off the account. They have not been very helpful at all to me.

I have another question. If sent a letter by fax telling The Loan Shop not to contact me at work and they are still doing that - is there anything i can do?

Vennice I am in the same boat I have 2 internet loans and I no sooner get one paid off.....after extending it the max # of times the other one is coming due and can't afford to pay it cuz I just paid the other one or god forbid its rent time.
Do you pay rent, buy the kids food or pay them?
I will choose my kids but not sure of next step after I closed and send everything.

You do not have to close the account. You could just place a stop payment on the checks. The bank may charge a fee to do that.
If the checks bounce then they can add charges. It is not against the law. Debt is a civil matter not a criminal one. In TX it is almost impossible to garnish wages for this type of debt.
