Yes, I am dealing with them now. They are allowing me to make a $25 payment every two weeks until the loan is paid in full.

Kathy, take a receipt of every payment made so that you have a proof of it. Also, something in written from AIP that they will update your accounts as 'paid in full' will be quite convenient.

It is always better to take some precautionary measures while you make some financial transactions.

Will "Paid as Agreed" work too instead of paid in full?

Both of these statuses deliver good view to the future lenders. But your credit report should not show 'Settled'
