Cashnet USA - could this be scam or a mistake?

So! I did some more double checking and Cashnet (I think) is wrong!

They say my account was funded on June 16th 2008 and on June 30th a payment of $75 is due or pay the loan in full.

We NEVER received any funding on June 16th. I checked the account records. On June 16th Cashnet attempted to debit the account $75 but I blocked it. I knew it was a reason I didn't recognize the transaction!
So I called cashnet and they said the loan was funded on June 16th...only it was NOT! Me nor my hubby receied any funds from cashnet usa on the 16th or ever! Now here is the tricky part. On May 30th we received 2 $300 loans from nh cash and ncp payday advance. Is ncp a part of cashnet? nhcash debits and credits under the same name but could cashnet be using two different names, ncp to fund and cashnet usa to debit? And if so, is this allowed? It seems confusing to the customer seeing all these different names on their bankstatement...

i never dealt with cashnet usa,but some members have.
sit tight someone will be able to advise further.

My state is Maryland. This is just confusing to me. The loan received on May 30th was from ncp Padyday advance for $300. The payment debit was from Cash Net USA Payday advance on June 16th for $71.61. This is what threw me for a loop. There was never a deposit or credit from CashNet...only from ncp payday advance and nhcash.

Nhcash I'm working with and there is no confusion...but why deposit the cash under ncp payday...but do a debit of $71 under Cash Net?? Right after that I blocked the account. But Cashnet is saying we received $300 on June 16th...which is certainly not the case at all...see why I am confused?

If it turns out that cashnet usa is using two different names then whoever gets the payments sure better not try and get me for TWO $300 balances.

well I did a search on the Maryland liscense search and it didnt' list anyother names besides Cashnet.

I know when I was dealing with cashnetusa I was able to log into their website and look at the loan contract. Did you ask for a copy of any loan documents? When I did a search for ncp payday on the same website, I got nothing.

nh cash is nhcash.com also called nhcashsilver.

I will try the cashnet website and see what I can find.

I can't find ncp Paydayadv either, but that is surely on my statement...the more I ponder this, the more I think that cashnet is using 2 different names to do their business..ncp paydayadv for the credits and cashnet usa for the debits...now why they are doing this just seems fishy to me... :(

Nope, the fee was $71.61, not $75. But when I called Cashnet said the fee is $75....

Too much inconsistency for me, this is why I am a little on edge and cancelled both companies ach authrization, I eevn re sent the letter to include any and all account ach revoke just incase they tried to get me at another account...

The deposit was $300 and the fee from cashnet usa was $71.61...what's up with that, they can just make random charges? Oh and then they up and charged me two payments of $30 something each, but my bank cancelled the charges out and didn't charge me a fee for doing so.

I resent the e-mails using the email addresses from the website. If anyone has any other e-mails I will use those as well. It is rather odd. Very odd to be exact. They have to call or e-mail eventually, I am just surprised it has taken more than 1 day, usually they (pdl's) are right there Johnny on the spot!

MTE Financial Services, Inc. has tons of DBA's like Cash Advance Network, Paychecktoday.com just to mention a few. They are real in the sense that they will deposit money into her bank account but they are one of the worst to deal with if you default.

What state are you in? You should research if they are legal in your state.

If your Mom has not received the money run as fast as you can away from this company, they will bleed her dry.

I work for a company that tries to collect on these loans. I am not sure what happens before they come to me but what i do know is that I'm getting a lot of fraud cases lately. I work in a pre-litigation collection agency so some of the accounts have been to collections prior to be recieving it. What i know is that in the last few months i have recieved about 20 case that are confirmed fraud. the best thing to do is to file a police report and keep on top of your credit report. Some how people are getting ssn, addresses, phone #s (including relatives) drivers licenses, email addresses. also in order for them to get the money they have to open a checking account under your name. You need to make sure if it was not you to protect yourself by disbuting incorrect info on your CR and getting a police report. keep in mind that filling a false police report is against the law so only do it if you are being honest, then you can send this to the company trying to collect from you showing them that you have disbute attributed to fraud. (please ignore spelling mistakes as i am extremely tired at the moment and i hope this makes sense to you all.) Also make sure the company who is trying to collect and provide you will all the loan information such as original loan account number, amount of principle balace. also keep in mind collection companies are not forwarded copies of the original loan agreement so they can not send you a copy since they are not supplied with it. also keep your statements showing your payments on the loan and a reciept if you paid it for at least 2 years. I would also suggest not using these loan companies again they rip you off big time with charges.

well good night

Did the person making the call sound kind of foreign but had an undisputable american name. Did they tell you that you had to make some kind of payment or arrangement ot settle out of court or the police would pick you up the next day. Just search the website it is a scam. They call people that may have attempted to get loans but never actually received them and tell them that they owe money. Then they try to manipulate and threaten you until you either pay or tell them that you will see them in court (which most americans would forego especially if they are unsure). It is a scam and there are websites to prove it. Just put in cashnet lawfirm express and you will see so many others in your same exact predicament. Hope this helped

Hey there,
We use them from time to time. They debit accounts as NCP
Not sure why but that is what they do. That is what the transaction comes up as.
I have never had a problem with them.

i just applied for a loan on 4/21 and had a few questions and talked to the people on cashnetusa and had no problems and on top of that i logged into my cashnetusa account to see my account history and also had a few question for them as well and had a email virtual chat and everything seemed fine. i have friends that have been doing business with them for years and never had a problem with them.
