PDL Payment Arragements

I want to make payment arrangements with my PDL\'s, but am not sure of the best way to contact them. I would much rather do it by e-mail, but can they somehow get my IP address when I send an e-mail to them?
What PDL's are you dealing with? Have you defaulted on them yet?
