Cash Call...

That was maybe May or June of last year. Cash Call is on his credit report but we have not heard from them since...if his account is sent to a collection agency then fine, but I don't even want to call and find out!
We needed the money in the worst way. And had borrowed $$ from family as well. Hindsight is 2020!!!
I want to find out what is going on, but then again I don't want to bring the heat back...
What to do?

I can tell you my experience with Cash Call . . . . . Once I defaulted, they tried pretty hard to collect from me for a couple months, then nothing for about 8 months. They didn't so much as send a letter or call.
Then one day a knock at my door. It's the sherrif, serving me with a summons. They sued me. The sherrif told me that he had a bunch more summons to deliver from Cash Call, and that they tend to do it in bunches.
It seems to me that they will wait for a while so that all the interest and fees ballons the balance. Once they get a judgement, the interest rate is set per your state law, so they can't continue to collect the huge interest rate.

I know....I know....

Yeah, that is just what happened to me. That doesn't mean it will happen with you. Other's have had their loans sold off to collection agencies and such. But the long period of silence makes me think your situation may be more similar to mine.
