The New Site Appearance?

Kinda hard on my eyes, but I'll get used to it. (blue would have been my choice, lol )
Change is good.

Very purdy, except I would have chosen purple. lol
Anyone else having problems posting, seems to be OK if I hit "Quick Reply", doesn't work if I hit the "Post Reply" button though.

Oh, our signatures are gone too. Hmmmmmm.

Yeah I had to do a double-take and make sure I typed in the right address. Looks good, though.

I hope that maybe the sidebar issue, where it overlays in front of posts, has been corrected - that was a problem for a long time.

I thought I typed in the wrong site too..LOL, I like the change..it will take sometime to get used to.

where is the contact a moderator?there is a junk post i
want deleted.i can't find the contact a moderator.that was my
toy on here.

I'm not sure I like it . . . . It seems like too much stuff is missing now.

Also, you can't look at the main forum page a see where new posts are. I don't like that, as now I have to look in each forum to see if there are new posts.

Also, as mentioned above, the signature lines are gone from our posts. And the contact a moderator link is gone. That is very helpful!

I miss the amount of posts since last visit. It seems to be there, but no numbers beside it.

Our technical team has been working very hard to get this new design working.

I am sure all these are just temporary problems. I have forwarded the errors, pointed out on this thread, to the tech team and I am told that all the problems would be done away with come the next week. ;)

Keep your suggestions coming. And if you come across any errors do report it here.

i figured out one thing. if you want your signature back. Just go to edit profile and just resubmit and it will appear again.


It sure would have been nice had they given us a heads up about the site change.

I am sure they are working on getting the bugs out but man this is aggravating.

I am sure irt's going to take a while to get the bugs worked out. I am still not sure about the site, I am like Cajun, getting old and change don't mix :lol:

A problem I have is, everything seemes all crammed up together when I look at posts since last visit. By that I mean that all the posts are like single spaced and makes it harder to read to me.Even the emoicons are all crammed together :lol:

It will take time to get used to avatars and stuff on different sides. Overall, I like it, just a few things need to be worked on..karen

I see that sigs are not working only on this thread for some reason. Should be sorted out soon.

yesterday evening this sight was the same old wonderful
sight.then this morning i noticed the changes.not complaining
i am finding out how to do the basics.mobile,you will have to
click your name on your avatar to access your homepage
once there you can do all the things like before,in fact
send me a message to test.my only thing is to be given a
heads up to this,otherwise i'll find my way until the kinks are
worked out.

I like the changes overall. I think someone put the color blue on their wish list, as opposed to green, I think I second that. Or Shazzers purple would be nice too.

Otherwise, I welcome the change and really like it overall. My hats off to the administration, and particularly Jason for taking the time to answer some of the concerns mentioned in this thread.

is anybody else having an issue with the quick reply? I have mine set at advanced but it only works in basic

I figured out the sig problem . . . . Even though in your profile it says to attach your signature, the Quick Reply doesn't automatically do it. You have to go in, edit the post, and click the box to attach the signature.

It's just the Quick Reply . . . . If you use the Post Reply it will already have the boxed checked if that is what is selected in your profile.

Wow...go away for awhile and everything changes. :shock: I guess you do not get the emoticons on the quick reply? Or am I just showing my lack of computer savy :D I am a little thrown off by the avatars on the opposite side...but then again, as mentioned before me, it takes time for me to get used to change. I do like the topic review..

Has it been mentioned that the "number of new posts since last visit" is no longer available. I liked having that available as it was a quick reference upon logging in. :D

Now I see that everthing is automatically bold too, and the posts seem to be all double-spaced.
