Confused - credit cards/loans

I have about 10 credit cards/loans. Currently they are not past due but they are becoming more difficult to maintain. What would be the advantage of debt consolidation other that the convenience of one payment?

Have you considered a debt management Plan instead of a debt consolidation loan ? You won;y have to put up collateral and will have one payment with a lower aprs.
