Re-aged accounts
Date: Mon, 06/30/2008 - 06:11
Okay so I pulled my credit report with transunion. I disputed some information and looked at my report this morning. Two creditors (one being ARROW and the other JC penny) re-aged my account to this past may and june. I have not made payments towards these accounts in over a year, JCP is a paid account and ARROW well arrow is arrow. So how do I dispute this? In otjer words how does one handle re-aged accounts with the credit bureaus AFTER disputes?
I'm not sure about this, but I can tell you one thing, Arrow is
I'm not sure about this, but I can tell you one thing, Arrow is sneaky and underhanded, it doesn't surprise me a bit about what they did. Hang tight, someone will be along as soon as possible to advise you. :)
Are you referring to the Date of Last Activity on the tradelines
Are you referring to the Date of Last Activity on the tradelines? That is not re-aging, that is generally the last time that the tradeline was updated by the data furnisher. Easy way to find out is call the CRA's and ask for the date of first delinquency (date the account went delinquent and was never brought current) as reported by the data furnisher. Compare that to your records to verify.
