Filing a motion to dismiss?

Hi, I recieved a summons from a law office on 4-8-08. I answered the summons on 4-25-08....asking them for proof of the debt. Since then, I've yet to hear anything from the law firm, or the court.
Any advice? Can I file a motion to dismiss? Or should I just wait it out?

Contact the court of record to find out the status of the case. Did they send anything else with the summons? Interrogatories, discovery questions? Did you answer or respond only with a DV?

I didn't get any other interrogatories or discovery questions with the summons, I just answered the questions on the summons....there were 7 of them...
I just filed my answer with the court, and mailed a copy of my answer to the law office.
I'll email the court right now and ask the staus.
