I just found something new. I thought all messages went through my PM mailbox and I was just looking at "My Page" and I saw a bunch of quick reply messages there that I didn't even know I had. I apologize for not responding but I don't know how. Whats the difference between your PM mailbox, the Quick Reply page and when you reply on an active post? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I've been a little confused about the differences also, but here's what I think I've figured out.

If you reply to the active post, then it posts your reply in the discussion thread, like this one.

If you send someone a PM, it goes into their personal mailbox, and they are the only one who can see it. If someone sends you a PM, only you can see it, and if you reply to it, it goes to that person's personal mailbox, only seen by them.

The "my page" posts are available to anyone to view since anyone can click on your page, but the messages there are specifically addressed to you. You can reply by hitting the "reply" button, and the reply will be posted on that person's home page, viewable by everyone.
