I have no sad tale to tell. Just that I was young & stupid. I thought that being late wouldn't hurt, I thought that ignoring the debt wouldn't hurt...I was wrong. Now I'm in big debt, getting calls daily, I have no "fun" money-everything goes to my creditors.

Young---don't beat yourself up for what happened in the past. The point is you know what NOT to do now and can move forward. Remember it won't always be like this. Stick to paying off your debts for yourself and your son. This experience can serve as an example for him when he is older. Good luck.

Please ladies---think POSITVE----I am in the same boat as both of you, but if I think negatively like it will never end----I won't get through each day. Bad situations will stay bad unless you take measures to change them. Take control of your life---pull yourself up by the bootstraps and move forward.

Hey Lawn you come to the right place for help, I was in the same situation as you when i was young partying all my money and buying cars and clothes i really couldnt afford. Almost 1 year later today and im about 75% done with being debt free. Dont let yourself get down about it. If your looking for help youve come to the right place for help. How much debt do you have? And when was the last time you paid? Are you working?
