Okay, so I had my husband mail and fax ach revoke letters to CashNet like 2 weeks ago. Plus I got the banking operations ach dept. at our bank to block cash net from ever debiting our account.

Now my hubby is getting frustrated that they keep calling him at work, even when he is not there and he does not have an office job so it is really annoying. I told him that the next time they call to tell them to cease the calls and all communication must be via e-mail or US mail.

should he send a C&D letter as well. Does CashNet (if anyone knows) respect such letters or do they still call?

Thanks for any advice!!

Personally, I would send the C&D letter. You'll have something in writing. Now, if they actually abide by your request, I'm not sure. I'm sure someone who has dealt with CashNet will be able to answer that. They'll let you know if they were continued to be harrassed!!

This is what I am sending them:

RE: Account #

This is to request you immediately CEASE and DESIST calling my place of employment. I am not allowed personal calls at work. Continuing to call my job is unacceptable when such a policy exists is harassment and illegal. CashNet USA has an alternate non business number for communication. Call that number or do not call at all- you also have the option of communicating via US mail or e-mail, however, once again calling my place of employment is against company policy and must stop immediately.

PAY DUE ATTENTION TO THIS LETTER

Cordially,

ALSO the crazy thing is they never respond to his e-mails. He has sent 2 emails and 2 faxes disputing them along with an ach revoke letters and not a peep from them, yet they call 100 times a day between his job and our home. I just sent the C&D letter, we'll see what happens with that. They can call the house from sun up to sun down I don't care, but I don't want them harassing my husband at work!

I'm dealing with Cashnet right now and they called my job numerous of times. I have a office job with my own line, but I sit in a cubicle with others around and they still don't care for personal calls here. They would call my job then 5 minutes later call my cell phone. After awhile they would call the main line and asked to be transferred to me...thank goodness for caller ID at work. If you tell a creditor to stop calling you at work, they are supposed to stop. Watch your account as well, because I put a hard hold on mine and revoked the authorization with cashnet. Since I work at the bank I am able to look at my account in a little more detail and for two straight pay periods they tried to debit my account even thought I mailed, faxed and emailed a letter revoking it.

Yes I am watching the account like a hawk. The crazy thing is they will not respond to any of his emails or faxes but will call all day long?? All they have to do is put it in writing that they deposited the money into our account on May 5th under the name 'ncp' (the name on our bank statement associated with the deposit) and that no deposit was made on 6-16-06 like they are claiming and we can doa payment plan and everyone will be happy. I just refuse for them to have the information incorrect because as soon as we start paying they can't start taking about all of sudden there are 2 loans that are owed, the 30th and the phantom 16th. Why they will not just put that in wiriting is what is making us suspicious.

They never seem to call when he is at work, so he goes in and gets 101 messages from his boss and co workers that these people are calling him over and over. soooo annoying for both of us.

They told me that I defaulted on the loan and since I owe them money they have a right to debit my account. I told them know you don't, since I have revoked it and sent you guys more than one letter. I told them if they try to debit my account again I was going to file a complaint with everybody I could think of and they haven't tried since. They also told me that until an acceptable payment arrangment is made they would continue to call everyday. Finally we agreed on a payment plan through my debt management company and they haven't bothered me since. I owe them $700 and we agreed at $105 a month.

I have had major issues with them also...I had an EPP, made 2 payments then could not make 3 & 4, reovke auth to my account, they have cost me about 10 NSF fees in the last 6 weeks...I've faxed and e-mailed them, it did no good. My debt management is working something out with them also...I haven't heard from them now in a few days, so I'm hoping its taken care of.
