Yes, I went to school, and that's how I accumulated my $90,000 debt. I got the majority of that on loans with Sallie Mae (horrible mistake, including going to school).

That alone was just a year and a half of going to school and I couldn't go anymore because of personal issues that had to be dealt with first. Afterwards, when I started paying the loan back I had to do a voluntary forbearance due to financial hardship.

... as simple as it might sounds, I sometimes wish I've never gone to school. There is absolutely no reward that goes with it, except for a big fat debt.

I have gotten a loan to go to school too and could not finish due to a death in the family and now I am stuck with repaying the loan and the school and I cannot go to another school or recieve any laons now to finish school. They should do something for people in theese situations.

Ya, they tricked me. Told me I would pay $60k for four years. I ended up racking up to 100K. What else? They said I could consolidate a year ago to lower my interest and monthly payments. As of August 2008 Sallie Mae refuses to consolidate loans. Big slap in the face. Sallie Mae is an evil corporation of a bank and should be burned.
