Hi. I have an online payday loan with Checkn'Go. Before the payment due date, I sent them an email asking them to put me on the Extended Payment Plan. I also emailed them a letter to inform them I am revoking ACH authorization as well as any wage assignments that I may have signed. I have already set up a hard block on my account.

Anyway, I checked the CFSA website and saw that this payday lender is a member of CFSA and that they have to to let borrowers sign up for the installment plan in the event that they cannot repay their loan in full on the due date. The lender keeps sending emails asking me to call them, but I don't want to do that because I prefer to have everything documented in writing in case of a dispute. I told them that I will not discuss my account over the phone-only through email. They keep emailing me asking to "call them and that collection accounts can't be discussed via email". They seem to ignore my request for an EPP. Has anyone ever been able to sign up for the EPP with Checkn'Go (internet loan)? Thank you.

uh,no you don't,and nobody here is gonna help in that area.nice all caps post gumby.

I have a interent PDL with Check n go online, it is in default as of today. Can I request a EPP. If I pay them the total amount owed I will not be able to pay my PGE which is due in 2 days and could get shut off. Can I call and ask for EPP since it is now in default or should I have done this last week? Any information will be of great help.

I believe that the epp is only offered for store front loans.

The Extended Paymet Plan is offered by participating members of CFSA. Even though the storefront or online member may be an member, the EPP may be trumped/regulated by some individual state laws. It can be tricky :(

With that being said I advise you to call and ask Check-N-Go what their re-payment options are before you default. It may be better than an extended payment plan. They are a licensed lender. Best of luck ;)

I tried to call last week and they would not talk about anything, they told me if my payment comes back their collections department will call me. So at this point I really dont know if I should wait for their collections to call save as much as I can so I can pay them what I have and try to make arraingments on the rest. I really dont want to loose sleep over not paying my basic living cost.

ChecknGo is notorious for being difficult to deal with. If you have attempted to make payment arrangements with no avail then contact the corporate office and let them know the circumstances.
