Ok- I have read all of your posts about FDRS. I, too, am giving them my hard earned money. When I contacted them, I was connected (after 30 minutes, no joke, on hold) with a complete smart alek. When I asked him how I am supposed to know what FDRS is doing and what the status is he replied "what do want, to come in here and see for yourself?" YES, that is what I want, if you are not going to TELL me what the heck is going on!!! All I know is I am 9 mos into the program, and am still getting calls from creditors and am being sued by debt collectors. What now? Can I get an atty and sue them for my money back? All I want is my money back and to settle my debt with the creditors myself. I am miserable with FDRS.

Have you tried filing a complaint with the BBB and your Attorney Generals office. I would start there and see where that gets you. I filed a complaint with the BBB regarding another company and got the refund that I was asking for. Don't let them continue to take your money if you are not happy with the service. Read your contract well. I quoted the contract and it was very easy to get my money back.

We all need to fight back from this rip off artists.

I was having a hard time getting in touch with them. but I called 3 times yesterday and they have gotten alot better, try calling customer service or I think they call it client care. I think they are alot better now. The guy said they just grew so huge becuase of the economy they had to catch up.....anyway they are taking really good care of me now.

Good luck dealing with these con artists. All FDRS will do is get you sued. You need to file complaints with your state attorney general , California state attorney general , FTC, BBB , FBI and rip off report.com . Even after that you may never get your money back. The wheels of justice can be slow but you will help lay the ground work of getting these guys shut down. At least you will help spread the word that that Federal debt relief System is a scam and not to do business with them. You will notice my signature has all the links to places to file your complaints . Good luck. :D

If you were sold a service that would eliminate your debts, then you might have a case.

If you were sold an expensive membership to a private club, then you probably don't have a case.

What do I mean by "if"?
You sue them, and you will allege the former...they will allege that they made no promises, and that you joined their club; if you cannot prove that you were taken advantage of, then you can probably kiss your money goodbye.
