I haven't heard of BIG (but that doesn't mean anything). Try doing a search of this site using Route 66 and/or BIG. I have heard of Route 66 however.

Hello littlebit_kennard and welcome to the community! :) BIG is an offshore, unlicensed lending company, if I am not mistaken, Route 66 is a part of BIG. You need to get your bank account secured. Have you taken a loan out with them? How much did you borrow, and how much paid back so far. What state are you located? If you can provide us with this information, we will be better able to assist you. :)

They are unlicensed and ILLEGAL as all heck in the US :x What you will need to do is close your bank account or at least put a hard debit block on it against this PDL immediately! They are infamous for making unauthorized withdrawls from folks bank accounts. Once you close you account they will definately contact you with their empty threats and nonsense.
We do need to know how much you borrowed, and also what stae you reside in to further assist you :)

Remember that there is only one way of dealing with them once they start their nonsense. Just say no and hang up. Even if you have to do it one hundred times. There is no reasoning with them. Even arguing with them gives them disturbing encouragement like the unwanted advances of someone who thinks you are playing hard to get. Just say no and hang up. They can't touch you!

I have never heard of an off-shore PDL. I assume that is so they don't have to follow certain guidelines. But what does off-shore mean--another country? I have an image of a boat floating around with flashing lights advertising PDLs. :D
