Good? morning all,
Need help getting a validation letter created.
For those that recall, I recieved 2 letters from a CA
that had the WRONG last name. I could use some help in getting that part of a validation letter down. I think I can piece together the rest of my eventual letter by using the various samples already listed in the various threads!

Unfortunately, I'm either working all night, or sleeping most of the day. Weekends spent doing what I can't do during the week.

Had sent 1 letter back, to ERSolutions, the CA that provided wrong last name. NOT certified at that time, as I was short of funds at the time. Said they were not to contact me, and tovalidate the claim they make, plus telling them they had the wrong pewrson named. No written reply, but 6 phone calls. All still recorded on CallerID - Date and time.

Anyway, any and all help/information greatly appreciated!!

Hi Keith

Thanks for the quick reply and the example letter.
Will be printing a copy out for later, when I have time to get the actual letter written out.

I'll start with this and see what, if anything, happens.
Will post if any information recieved and/or if anything actually happens.

Can I also add the statement that any reply is to be in writing only? And that phone calls are NOT acceptable?

Might work on this stuff over the weekend, if train show I'm part of is somewhat slow.

A hug and a handshake to everyone who has offered help in the past, currently and down the road!

Thanks again,

Keith

Keith

The cease and desist letter mentions that you refuse to be contacted at your place of work or home and all the correspondence should be done through mail only. After receiving your letter, they will have to stop contacting you as per the fdcpa laws.

If they call you after receiving the C & D letter, it is a violation of the federal law and you can take legal actions against them.
