I kinda felt that way too. I literally worried myself sick during the proposal process... for no good reason. If you can't pay your creditors and the consolidation company, you do get quite a few calls, but for the most part, when you tell them you have entered into a consolidation program, they back off. Of course they still ask for some payment ( after all, it is their job ). Most of them were very nice once they realized not only would they be getting paid, they wouldn't have to call any more! My creditors are being paid promptly. My interest rates have been lowered (on credit cards) from 24.9% and 29.9% to 15% to as low as 5%. I expect to be debt free in less than three years. It really is that easy!

After you enroll in the program with this website, shed your responsibility on the consultant and he will assure you of the needful.

When I got a call from the consultant, I was a bit nervous in talking about my debt to him. But he comforted me nicely by offering easy solutions to it.

It was during the program that we have built a very nice and friendly relation and there is no space for me to hesitate. I am very thankful that I have got such a nice consultant to work in my situation. Thanks to this site for keeping in touch with some real professional people.

I have talked to the consultant (as mentioned above) and now I have faxed my forms to my consultant. I am hopeful, but also afraid of denial. I know it sounds crazy.... Hopefully it won't take long to get a proposal back. I will let you all know.

I appreciate it. I went over all the number in our budget today with the gal and she will give me a call when she has a proposal. I wonder how long it will take?

It won't take much time. Once the negotiation is over with your lenders, they will place the proposal to you. You can expect the call shortly.

Ok,

I sent in my first payment today and have let the one credit card company know all the information (so they will not call again). The other one I was not behind in so hopefully it will all go smoothly there.

Now, to do a FIRM budget and stick to it. I will be doing LOTS of research on this adventure.
