Has someone from Ellis Crosby called you up at your home phone?

This is a collection agency that has been involved in illegal collection practices from the consumers. If you check this forum, you will find loads of information about them.

They have been under government surveillance for quite some time and have been filed a lawsuit by the Florida Attorney General. Recently, we heard that the company has filed for bankruptcy.

If you get a call from them and they try to harass you, do not get intimidated by them. There is nothing to worry as they are not allowed to continue collection practices. Tell them that you will be paying to your creditors directly or any other agency to which the debt will be assigned.
