United Cash Loans is part of MNE and not licensed to do business, period. paul and Shazz, I love you dearly, and I would never play devil's advocate with these slugs, but I am a personality type that doesn't like things hanging over my head AND sitting around waiting for the other shoe to drop. I deal with it head on. When I got the call from CPD regarding MyCashNow and PayDayMax, I got right on the phone and confronted them. Actually, they wanted to let me know that because of all the "fees" I had paid they marked my account PIF as they applied them to the original balance. They also said they would mark my PayDayMax account PIF if I was willing to pay them what was still owing on my account. Again, applying all the "fees" and deducting them. I don't always think that returning a call is an open invitation for a shouting match. I was glad I did contact them as those 2 PDLs went away in minutes.

i understand where your coming from llw,but they sent a C&D letter and they are still calling.i think an email or another letter
should do.i don't see the benefit of engaging them when they got that letter.

paul. . . I realize that as well but I am pretty hard headed. They ticked me off cuz they called when I asked them not to and they also called one of my references. Once I get fired up it's hard to get me to back off. Perhaps I was lucky, they actually wanted to give me some positive info. If they had started dookie with me, that might have been a different story. I just want everybody to be done with these slugs!

both ways work,we are just stating that we would do either one.i do agree with that we all should be done with the slugs.

Thanks paul! I agree. Not everything works for everyone and had it been a different day, things might not have worked for me either. When dealing with these slugs, you never know from moment to moment how they will react. I am just waiting for the day when they will be all shut down. Have a good one!

llw, I know what you mean, my point basically was, if you argue with them on the phone, it gives them more incentive to call and call and call, however, if you say nothing they will eventually give up, they can't argue with thin air, I would only deal with them through correspondence, but that's just me.

Hey Shazz, I hear you and I do understand the point of view from both you and paul. I have been very fortunate in my plight with the PDLs. I hadn't overpaid any when I came here, I was in New York State where they are prohibited and I was able to find just the right button to push and it only took me 3 months to do so. Thanks to all the good folks on this board I was able to get my life back relatively quickly. Like I said, I am pretty head strong and any phone conversations I had with them did not allow them to talk at all. I just kept on ranting until I said what I needed to say and just hung up when I finished! In retorspect, it was pretty rude on my part, but it got the job done. Actually, they probably gave me my PIF just so they wouldn't have to listen to me again!

i agree with paul and shazz, most likely they just want you to call to try and intimadate you
