On the hunt for Date of last activity

Hi there everyone....I am trying to figure out my date of last activity from two very old accounts. The accounts are back between 97-00 and were sold to creditors, however in looking at my report it shows that the original creditor has posted the "Last Reported" Date as May 2008. I am thinking that some re aging is going on and want to get them deleted. I have addresses for the original creditors but do not have my old account numbers. Should I just provide them with the digits that are visible on the credit report?

Date of last activity would likely be the last update of the tradeline by the OC and not re-aging. It is also irrelevant. You need to be concerned with the date of first default (DOFD)for reporting purposes (7-7.5 years)and the date of last payment(DOLP) for SOL purposes(varies by state).
