Are they a reliable company for getting a modification on your home mortgage. And what do you know about debtsaver10.com/J Hess Group LLC? And debt solutions?

You can apply on your own for a mortgage modification. Just contact your lender and ask them how to do it. When I did it, I printed some forms that they had online, filled them out and faxed them back to them. It took a couple of weeks and I had to make some follow-up phone calls and answer some additional questions. But they lowered my interest rate for three years and lowered my payment for three years. I am saving almost $600 per month from my original payment amount.

sure you can do it yourself... but after you get no return calls, on hold for god-knows-how-long, telling your story over again to more people than i like to say, the lender not getting anything i send them... it does make sense to use a service. the company that i used knew who to talk with, what to say, what to and not send to the company... its like going to court; would you go with or without an attorney?

i have a friend that used this company; he referred me to them. i have shopped around and it seems that the cost of a modification is anywhere from $2500 to $4000. my friend seemed happy with their performance. i did try to speak with bank of america on my own it i always feel i get the run around. not only am i stressed with not making enough money, the daily calls from the bank... but when i look to the lender for help, i feel they dont care. i feel like walking away from my home and not looking back. i might use homesaver if i decide to keep my home. the guy i spoke with seemed like he knew what he was talking about and answered my questions. i dont know... its all too confusing.

Well I hope Homesaver LLC is a reputable company; I just paid for their services. I had reviewed their information on the BBB and feel they're legit. I received a foreclosure notice and am currently 7 months behind. I had no job for 3 months and both my wife and I just started back to work. After speaking with a rep and going over our options, we felt confident to move forward. I will post how things go.

I wanted to come back and give you all who are reading this and update. The company Homesaver was able to get us what I believe a modification. The lender is suppose to be sending us the final paperwork; I dont know why they're sending it directly to us. Unfortunately, this will be only for 3 months. Its my understanding at this point, our lender will review our situation at that point. If all is good and we've made our payments on time, they'll do the final modification. I can not tell you how happy I am. Finally, I feel I'm getting somewhere. But... and this is a BIG but, its not over yet.

Wow... I finally have gotten my FINAL modification paperwork from the bank. I am happy this process is over and one. My payment is about $700 lower each month. I appreciate the help from Homesaver. i know I am only one positive success from the thousands that are not... good luck to anyone else that is stuggling.

Why would you pay a 3rd party company to fax in your information when you could do it for free? How much did they charge you? Most of the time all these 3rd party companies only fax in the paperwork, if your lucky and dont bother to call your mortgage company to verify if it was recieved. So you would rather waste a mortgage payment to give to this company then to wait on hold a few minutes or longer depending on the time of day or take a minute and download forms from your mortgage companies website, then to have a mortgage payment in hand, no wonder you needed a modification.

No, they are not a reputable company. They used outside recruiters to get my business and those recruiters made guarantees of a full money refund if our loan mod was not what we expected. After 7 months we got a loan mod and it was $200 higher than our original payment. Homesaver LLC refuses to pay the money back because they said the recruiter had not right to make that guarantee to us, which I have in writing. That is not my problem. I did get the guarantee and was never informed this recruiter was not a formal employee in their company. Her office is at their office, she met me at their officer, her email correspondence signature is their website and information, yet they expected me to think she didn't work for them? If anything, it is not their fault of the choice by the bank, but not standing by what their "contracted" employee guaranteed is a lack of integrity.

loss mitigation- Why would someone hire a 3rd party to assist them with a loan modification? Well... you do not have to. But if you have dealt with the lenders yourself, you might be able to answer that. You're right, one could do this themselves. Though, why do we take on a real estate agent or hire an attorney? The fact is, if you're working with a legit company, most of the time they're able to be successful with a loan modification. The outcome that a homeowner has doing their own modification pales in comparison against a legit 3rd party.

This company has gone in the dumper. I have been working with this company for almost a year now. I was being helped with someone that I felt was competent; but is not employed any longer. I have been given the run around for the last three months. It seems most of their staff has left. I hope this company does not go out of business. If it does, this would be the second company that I have paid to work on my loan.
