what do you do when you have a payday loan, that has no contact number, doesnt respond to your emails but is deducting $90 from my bank account

You can try to put a stop on their withdrawal amount and company name, that will get their attention

I have a bit of info I'd like to pass along that I received from the state of Utah regarding Global Payday Loan. The email is as follows:

Global Payday Loan LLC was registered as a payday lender in Utah two years ago. They voluntarily left the internet payday loan arena. They also operated another DBA as Cash Net 500.

Global Payday LLC was authorized by the Utah Department of Financial Institutions to offer internet payday loans only to Utah residents. Global Payday was not authorized to make internet payday loans to citizens of other states based on their Utah registration.

To the best of my knowledge they do not offer loans to Utah citizens since they surrendered their registration two years ago.

I am in a situation where a collection agency called me yesterday stating that I owe $500 for a payday loan with summit group that I never applied for. They gave me a false company name. I AM TRYING TO FIND A PHONE NUMBER FOR SUMMIT GROUP THE ONE LISTED ON HERE IS NOT A GOOD NUMBER. Anyone have a good phone number for them?

Hey I am having the same problem with SSM Group, they are the same as Summit Group LLC, I am most certain they are scammers. Call your state financial services to get free legal advice on what you can do.

I have just closed my account because they wont stop trying to withdraw money from my account. There is no money in my account so they have been unsuccessful, they racked up over $300 in overdraft charges on my bank account. Lucky for me, I begged my bank for forgive the charges since I was unaware of this loan that was put into my account.

You probably need to take your money out of your account and close it, or they will continue to take money out of your account, with or without your knowledge. Even after the loan (if any) has been paid back, and if they have your social security number be very wary of identity theft.

I checked on my state licensure for payday loan companies in my state and they are not even registered, meaning they don't have the right to give out payday loans to WASHINGTON residents.
You should do the same and check if they are licensed in your state, but I am sure they are not.

I called them and asked for an address and the first thing the operator told me, was that they don't have an address, I questioned her some more and then she told me that they are based in the West Indies.

I know they are scammers and I wont pay them a cent.

Make sure your take note of everything they tell you over the phone, if they start harassing you or threatening criminal charges, that is illegal and can be used against them.

I borrowed 300.00 from this group and they are telling me there is a 90.00 finance charge (outrageous but I am desperate). I plan on paying this off as they told me to call 3 days prior to my pay day and they will take the full 390.00 and pay the loan off in full. Are you telling me they will continue to try and deduct money from my account?

summit group number is 1-866-918-2742. I had to call my bank and get them to trace the ach deposit to get there number but this should be the corret number

in the last month or so i was looking for payday loan online. as you all know 100's of them pop up, anyway i was filling in the info but do not remember no i know i did not click on the submit button. next thing i know i have a $200 credit in my bank. since i did get a loan from another site i was a little confused, but the $200 realy helped me at the time. i did't have any idea what the charges were, 2 weeks later there was a $60 debit from my account. unfortunatly they did send me an e-mail to see if i needed an extension, but it got deleated. now i don't know how to get ahold of them. my debit from account saysGMC GROUP LLC ,not having any luck finding the correct web page, can anyone help me??

I have one more number for the Summit Group, LLC. I just called it and got an answering machine stating it is the office of Summit Group. The number is 866-918-2742. Good luck. I am also trying to file as many complaints in as many places as possible to stop these people.

I called the number my bank gave me for this group and got Information Resources, (recorded message) telling me to call 866-516-9300. When I called that, I got a recording (it is 11:40 pm here, so I expected and wanted the recorded message anyway) informing me it was LSL Marketing and that office hours are Mon-Fri 8am - 4:30 pm central standard time. I hope this will help you. I am having trouble with them also.

I don't have a website for them. Have been looking, but no luck. I have phone number though, try 866-516-9300, which is answered as LSL Marketing, but I believe it is the same as CMG. Good luck

I took out a loan with summit group llC. My mother close her account and I will like to payoff the balance of the loan $300.00 and you took $90.00 11/17/2010.

I recieved a loan for 300 dollars but I dont know the name of the company or have a phone number to reach them at, so will they take out the money from my account or is there a way i can find out who gave me the loan... Im really stressing b/c i would hate to end up in debt b/c of this situation.

You'll need to check your bank, see where the money came from. Where did you apply for a loan?

it appears that the business is listed with the Kansas Secretary of State with an address of PO Box 558 Shawnee Mission, KS 66201. It is however a foreign corporation from the state of South Dakota whose address is
2701 Minnesota Ave. Suite 6, Sioux Falls, SD 57105.

I took out a loan with them, and I found it quite odd one has to call or fax a request to pay down a loan. However, I just called to have it paid down, my call was immediately answered. Seems to be hit and miss with these guys, no?
