hi everyone, I have 7 payday loans that i have had for months!
I have always paid my renewel fee on time until last week i closed out my bank account. i faxed everyone before hand notifying them that my bank account is no longer valid and i would be contacting them soon. that did not stop them from trying to debit my account. I had 8 payday loans 1 which was jvc funding when i called to see if they received my fax and ask what my total balance was she said "your account has been excused you have a zero balance!" I live in pennsylvania and here are the pay day loans i have....

payday loan: original amount amount paid
usadvance $400 pd $1280
loan point geneva roth $400 pd $1200
one click cash $450 pd $315
pay day one $1380 pd $1395
cashnet $500 pd $500
sjm marketing $300 pd $720
us fast cash $200 pd $120

these are all internet loans. i have called pdl assistance but after reading your posts am rethinking it. please give me some in put. thanks!

In PA, internet lenders can lend legally to PA residents as long as they are licensed in another state. They would need to follow the laws of the state in which they are licensed.

This basically means that the ones that are licensed, you will have to work out a payment plan with and the ones that are not, you only need to pay back what you borrowed. One Click Cash and US Fast Cash are not gong to be licensed anywhere.

You can go through pdl assistance or you can do this yourself. It is not difficult, however, it can be alot of work and can be frustrating at times. It just depends on if you are up for it. Either way, we wil be here to help you along the way.

I have received loans before through jvc and not had a problem with them but about 6 weeks ago 45 dollars was debited from my checking account from jvc and i didnt remember getting a loan with them, but because i am caught in the cycle of too many pdl companies i thought maybei just forgot this one, but for the past 4 weeks every payday friday jvc has debited my account for $45 claiming not enough money was in the accont to satisfy my requested pay off in full, but my bank states that jvc only requested a $45 debit amount and i was not charge a ins. funds fee from my bank and jvc claims the $45 is a ins. fee from them. The money was available both times and when i contacted jvc they were very rude and told me there was nothing they could do about it so i need to have the money in there for the pay off and hung up in my face. I called back to let them know that the next payday they need to take out $195 to satisfy the loan and if they could send me an e-mail confirming this and they said they dont do that. What can i do to insre they are not trying to fraud me and how can i break this cycle of pdl's?

Nena,

In California it is not a criminal offense to close your account. I would first send a letter revoking any and all ACH transaction agreements, both to the pdl and the bank. Then go in and close the account. If you owe them a balance of $195 send them a USPS money order.

What are the payday loans for Washington, DC. I plan on closing out my checking account before they can take debit any more from my account. Should I fax them and give them my new account number (which I don't want to do), or should I fax them after closing out the account and ask if I can pay them by money order.

I have payday loans form JVC funding and MMG Marketing I was current until recently and now people are calling me stating they are from law firms and the companies are trying to enter a judgment for bank theft and providing fraudulent information. I live in Illinois and I am trying to find out if they are licensed.

I live in nj and I have like 4 pdl and now people r calling me from law firms saying they r going to issue a warrent for my arrest n charge me for theft n fraud what do I do please help me!!

Then it's a bogus law firm because you can't be arrested for owing a debt, besides, payday loans are prohibited in the state of N.J. CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.
