Asset Acceptance Will Not File a Lawsuit

They bought a credit card debt 6 years ago and have been collecting on it ever since. They have my home address and telephone and call constantly (I have caller ID and ignore any numbers I don't recognize). They have had 2 different attorneys send me correspondence in their name.
I live in NC and have waited and waited for them to file suit but they don't. They just continue with routine collections even though I've done nothing but ignore them for 6 years. Why won't they file suit?

Likely it is beyond SOL for suit. Is this a CC? When was the last time you made a payment? If you are beyond SOL and Federal reporting period, the send them a full Cease Comm and be done with them. They will likely sell it off to another JDB. In that case, rinse and repeat.
