Asset Acceptance Will Not File a Lawsuit

I live in NC and have waited and waited for them to file suit but they don't. They just continue with routine collections even though I've done nothing but ignore them for 6 years. Why won't they file suit?

Likely it is beyond SOL for suit. Is this a CC? When was the last time you made a payment? If you are beyond SOL and Federal reporting period, the send them a full Cease Comm and be done with them. They will likely sell it off to another JDB. In that case, rinse and repeat.

you do dispute it and it is taken off your report right?if so and if you want these dullards out of your life.i would send a total
C&D letter.force there hand.either they go away or sue you.then you can use the SOL as your defense.
