Is it for sure your rental property in question, or could it be a case of mistaken identity or identity theft?
Have you had any mail from the property manager/landlord?
Could you have broken the lease in some way?
Was anyone else on the contract? Could they have done something to the property of they stayed there longer than you did?
Could there have been a lot of property damage that they are coming back against you for? Over $15k is a LOT of money.

There was no one on the lease but me. My contract was up and they new I was not renewing hte lease. The Apartment was spotless when I left it. That is why I am trying to figure out what is going on with this. I don't remember getting anything from them on this. I live there for 1 yr

I'm no expert but I would think that the first step should be to check with the court that granted the judgement. They would be able to tell you when it was filed for, the address they mailed paperwork to you at, etc.

Yes I have started on that... When I called the mortgage company to tell them that the jusgement stated statisfied they said not to touch it but I want this fixed espeicailly since I didn't do anythin to make it satisfied and there is no satisfied date
