since its illegal here in ny can these pdl companies sue you in ny iam sure they will say they will sue and that they can but can they really i am assuming that they can't

i'm in the same situation in NJ, it is my understanding that sin

i'm in the same situation in NJ, it is my understanding that since they are prohibited, that they would not be able to take legal action against you and all you really owe them is what you have borrowed. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong..) I'm sure someone who lives in NY will be along to help you better though :)
