Yes, they filed bankruptcy. The case number is 3:05-bk-15194-GLP. It's pending in the Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Division. Ted Ellis Crosby filed an application to pay officer's salary of $2,250 per week plus health insurance, dental insurance and life insurance. That's $117,000 a year. He claims it's justified because he's working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. The 341 meeting is 11/29/2005 at 01:30 PM at Jacksonville. GTO is listed as an unsecured creditor on the schedules to the amount of $250,000. Their address is 2830 State Line Road, #204, Prairie Village, KS 66208. Ellis Crosby owes $75,000 to the IRS for unpaid withholding taxes. They have assigned receivables of $23,000,000. This is all from Pacer.

Make sure you do not pay these guys. I did and received a collection notice from another company. I would like to know what happened to the money I paid. $885 for a 200 loan....

Ellis Crosby & Associates tried the same thing with me. Threatened to have my husband arrested at his place of employment and I called the local sheriffs department and the officer that responded called them and I haven't heard anyomre from them.

If the 341 meeting isnt until 11/29/05 I would suspect there has been little or no discussion on restitution for consumers. Actually, unles the FTC steps in and files a claim there most likely won't be any restitution for consumers excpet that they areo out of business.
