Thanks for the suggestion. I must say that it's quite relevant and we'll definitely give a thought to it. But right now we are keeping the existing forum name "Student loan consolidation" as it is. We may try your suggestion any time in the future.

Student loan debts, especially defaulted generally cannot be consolidated in most debt management programs and even consolidation within the student loan industry may not be the best option for most defaulted loans. Plus educational debts is not just student loans..it also includes past due school accounts.

Maybe someone has questions about their student loans, but not necessarily wanting to consolidate ... in that case the name is misleading.
