Before I paid the money, I would've asked the CA if they were reporting, and if so, negotiated removal from your credit report. Of course, get everything in writing. THEN, I would've paid it. Once you pay the bill, you lessen your negotiating power.

scratch that im sorry. my parents DID receive notifications of this in the mail. they never told me though... wow. i came home the night IDM called me and i told them about the situation and my mom said "oh yea... mail did come about that. im sorry i didnt tell you. i must have forgot..." am i really going to be punished for the mistakes of my mother? and i dont check the mail and when i did go to the emergency room the insurance was under my dads name so i had no say in this at all. whats going to happen to my credit score? please help me im so scared.
