My crazy story that put me in the hole!!

Well signing up for the credit counseling apparently killed my credit score, all my cards were closed other than the 2 that I did not include on the counseling. I was paying fine for about a year through the credit counselor then just couldn't do it anymore, I was barely making it. I basically stopped paying, I was depressed, felt down, felt helpless. Now I have a plan setup with bank of america my biggest account 8,000 they reduced my apr to 0% paying 195.00 a month over 5 years, but several of my other accounts I have been unable to pay even though the balances are only 500-1200, and continue to rack up fees and crap. I need to get everything straight, I am young and recently married and have a child on the way. I did get my college degree in accounting (who would think a accountant would do something dumb like this). Well my job really sucks at the moment (paywise) making it hard to work on this, and my stuttering does not help, I have the credentials as i get several interviews, but can't get past the interview. I am eligible to sit for the CPA exam, and my dad is going to help me pay for that so hopefully that helps. I don't know what to do? I also have about 11,000 in student loans to pay, which are currently in forbearance for low income until next year. I recieved phone calls relentlessly at home, and on my cell phone on the cards I haven't paid in over 3-5 months. I am glad I found this site it looks like a great place to start me back on track. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum! And yes you are in a good place---you will find a TON of information about consolidating debts, student loans, past due bills, credit cards, collection agencies, etc.
Try not to focus on the problems your stuttering has caused. You know that doesn't define who you are. I don't want to make light of it, but I'm sure it doesn't help it if you stress.
Have you thought about a part-time job (in addition to your main job)? Just so you can pay off some of your debts? Maybe something from home that you and your wife could do together? I would also call the consolidation company you worked with and explain your situation and see how they can help you. Maybe they can renegotiate with your creditors and get payments lowered.
Don't worry about the student loans until they come due. You might be eligible for more forebearances when the time comes.
And what an accomplishment to earn a degree in accounting! Congratulations on the impending arrival of your baby. Keep your chin up and look to the future.
