I'm trying to break the PDL cycle and have hit a brick wall. I have several loans which have defaults and the others I've renewed many, many times.

Here are the companies, I live in Alabama.

Advance America.
Easy Money
Cash Connection (default)
Check N Go
Magnum Credit (default)
Cash Transfer Centers (default)
Cash Today

I'm confused on what my next steps should be.

i ran into the same problem as you. I finally ended up enrolling in the payday loan assistance program (12 month program). They take all of your lons and the amounts you owe them and come up with a small monthly payment. The only problem is the payday loan companies will still continue to try and take out money from your bank account and the loan companies don't see any settlement until about after your 6th month in the program. It came to a point where i had to close my bank account and open a new one. These payday loan companies are ruthless. Just be careful and make sure you explore all your options before moving on. You should probably also read on the laws that apply in your state. Good luck :)

Cash today is an internet one right? The only way to get them to stop taking from your account is to close your checking account. But before you do that please read your states laws about that. These people will call and call, but when you become informed you will know how to deal with them.

Advance America has a payment plan that you can go on it is called an EPP (extended payment plan) they do not let people know about this, and you can only do it 1 time in a 12 month period. But you do have to go in the office BEFORE your due date to sign the papers. They will break down your loan into 4 payments. And the good thing is that all interest will stop. So whatever you pay will pay down on your loan.

Check n go, I am not sure if they have the EPP, for us we let them cash our checks and send it off to collections and are paying it on a monthly basis to a CA.

I know some on here have delt with CTC, do a search on the site and you will find some good info to help you deal with them.
