Calling But No Answer
Date: Wed, 09/10/2008 - 12:07
I've been trying to call Titan Recovery Group to get some answers on a charged-off credit card from Chase Bank. I called Chase because I had stopped receiving letters about the debt. Turns out Chase sold my account to Titan. They gave me their address and phone number but I never get an answer when I call. Does anyone else have a number for this collection agency? I've also looked up their site and sent an email to contact them. I got a message to my email that it was undeliverable. I'm worried that since their phone numbers and email system doesn't work, their address may be inaccurate as well. I'm going to try to send them a letter anyway though. A stamp can't hurt.
The numbers Chase gave me are 877-874-3328 and 770-476-3230. Neither of them work and I get the same "all circuits are busy, please try again later" message. I've been trying once a week over the past 2 months, back and forth with Chase too.
Also, I asked Chase if I could just work something out directly, but they keep pushing me off on Titan even though I told them the numbers they gave me are bad. I'd just like to get this taken care of. Any insight would be most helpful.
Thanks,
Jewels

Have you tried calling like real early in the morning? I don't know what state you are in or they are in, but maybe you are calling at their busiest times.

We're in the same situation, the loan was sold to EMCC (800-880-8899) whom farm it out to Titan then Synergetic Communication (800-580-8615), I settled the amount with Synergetic, Titan never sent me a letter regarding the outstanding balance. EMCC are the one who has to update and clear my account with the 3 credit agencies.
Hope this helps.
Help with Titan
If you look over the internet, and I knowsome people who worked for Titan, they are out of business and are being sued. There employees didn't even get paid for the last 2.5 weeks they worked for them. I would just dispute the bill the with you 3 major credit bureau because if the company doesn't produce anything back to valid your debit in 30 days, then it's taken off your credit anyway. If no one there they can't forward information back so you should be free and clear.
hope this helped

Titan Recovery Services (Chase)
I received a call from them quite a few times and they also call my friends and relatives. Please beware. The number they gave me is 1-877-418-8231. Try that number, I called it and it went right to a person where you could leave a voicemail. I didn't leave one, of course.

Just don't make the mistake I made. I searched Titan Recovery in GA, turns out there is also a repo company w/ similar name. DONT CALL THEM! Nice people, for a repo company, BUT NOT AFFILIATED with the other. They actually helped me find a bunch of numbers to try and reach Titan Recovery Group.
