mcm
MCM contacts me daily makes threats of coming to my work and arresting me idiot don't pay the debt. Also telling my friends I own money. Like loan sharks. They never say what or who I owe. I want a letter in writing but they never send one. I believe they are of a different country and scamming the money if we fall for their tricks
pls reed it
mcm is debt collection cmpany,,, when evr any consumer disput any bill,,what they want to the consumer they want consumer to shaw the documntation that saport consumers statent...like 0 balance ltr from the orignal creditor, noc, if consumer paid it of befor so any ltr that saport thr statemnt, and if consumer says i hv no docmnt or i nvr had this servc,,, so mcm wants thr consumer to send copy of police coplnt.with the handritn ltr,,,,,if thr is some identity thft,, so if we tlk about mcm its a 2 lagst debtbuyer cmpny in us, mcm, respct the consumers and( mcm treat the consumers the way they want to be treated). what i would sagust you if you hv any bad debt or debt when evr any collection cmpny call you up dont gv me excuse tlk to them dscusd your all mtrs with them if you hv mny to pay them to get you account steld if you dont hv says them you need time to save mny to clos your debt whenevr debt collector call you dont ignor that call allways tllk to them let them knw you situation, bcoz as pr my consrn debt collectors spose to help the people they save mny for consumer to get thr account resolvd.
spose you hv 10000$ debt
in ordr to get this 10000$ account clos people spose to hire dca(debt consolidation agency) to setle thr dbt then what they do,, they took to mny like consumer hs a debt of,,10000$ they askd you to pay them pay them mnthly instlmnt of,666.67$ a mnth for 12 mnths then what people do they spose to agree them to get thr account resolvd but here is a thnk whch needs to be considered in the mind if you calculate 666.67$*12 mnths so the amount would be 8000$ right
now see here
instead of going to the debt consolidation if peaple directly go to the creditor or if the orignal creditor sold the account to debt collection cmpny so what i would recomand you people to contect directly to that comny and get your account resolvd, and if you do that so instead of going to debt consolidation agency if you get your account reslovd by gttng touch with that debt collction compny they gonna save you a chank of many more then that like if debt consolidation cmpny gonna stl you account instead of payng 10000$ they askd you to pay them 8000$ to clos it,,but if you directly contct to debt collction cmpny who purchsed your account from orignal creditr they gonna gv batr stlmnt ofr to get your account resolvd gonna save you a chank of mny on your bill and also gonna report your account as paid in full to all the magr credit buerue but when evr you stl the account askd them to send your a ltr frst that state the same informtion
i am not going to disclosed my name if you need more info so email me DELETED...PM
harassment
I have been receiving numerous calls from MCM, asking for a person who does not live with me and some how they have acquired my phone number. He spoke in broken English, possibly from the Philippines, who demanded to speak to that person. I asked how he acquired my phone number and he only repeated that he wished to speak to that person. Regardless of what I asked he began getting demanding that I produce the person.
I repeatedly told him I wanted to have my number placed on a "do not call list," he said again demanded that the person be brought to the phone. This company is a real pain in the ass, how does someone get rid of them?
MCM - Calling for a 10 year old debt
I just checked my credit report a few days ago, and updated my cell number. Literally a few days later, I kept getting a call from "Unknown" and after a few times of not answering (figuring it was some telemarketing call), I finally picked up. I guess MCM had bought a bad debt from 10 years ago and was trying to collect...offered up a settlement right away. I had actually paid this bill 10 years ago and the account was closed. And since I had just checked my credit report a few days ago, I knew that this was not on my report so I told him so. But he was not interested at all with what I was telling him. He tried to get me to tell him my new home address and to just pay for it over the phone. I asked him to provide me information on this debt and he had really no information other than outdated personal information such as an old home address. He then told me that the burden of proof was on my end. So I informed him of various credit and collection laws and he kept mentioning FDCPA so I asked him to explain to me the statutes where they can purchase non-existing debt and try to collect after 10 years. He obviously wouldn't, but then I decided to show him what it would feel like to be on the receiving end. So then I began reading word for word starting with the first section of FDCPA. And I told him I'll keep him on the phone all day long and inform him of the actual laws. After 30 min of talking to him on the phone (not letting him get a word in), he finally told me that he would mark to never call me but will keep sending letters in the mail. So I told him I had 8 more hours I can talk to him and read to him the entire Federal Credit Reporting Act word for word so I can better inform him including all amendments introduced and passed year after year. Finally after another 15 min (total 45 min) on the phone, he said he'll mark to never call me or send me a letter. I'm hoping they never call back, but I was thinking about calling him again to make sure the note he claims he put on my file was still there. At this point, I'm happy to call them over and over and over again until I make their lives miserable. Once something gets turned around onto someone else, it always seems they will do the right thing. The golden rule.
