To the person that referenced "Why hasn't United responded but one time" I am not trying to feed a thread that is just jumping higher in the search engines. Either way I have no problems with Unified Financial, but Anthony if you have a problem with me then call my office or feel free to stop by and we can talk about this. On a side note I am not the one that made the comment about "you need a slap in the face". I certainly hope that your not making comments and hiding behind the name "guest". As for my leadership, I have a proven reputable track record in this business. Again call me and stop hiding behind names on this board or feeding the BS that's on here.
This isnt Anthony that is putting up the comments about United a
This isnt Anthony that is putting up the comments about United and thier sales manager, so calling Anthony out is pointless. Who I am isnt important, its what I know and what people who are looking to work in the debt industry need to know. And this isnt about a problem or issue with the company United. So dont worry about that either. As for your "leadership"...Many people who have worked for you have told me, that although you are knowledgable in the industry, you quickly "throw people under the bus" to protect yourself. Every person i know who has worked for you has said the same thing. So no need to defend yourself. Its a known fact that you dont deserve the position that you hold. Furthermore, those same people all say that it is inevitable that one day, you will lose your postion to a much more qualified and dependable individual. And on another note, its also known that the only reason that you keep your position is because noone else wants to deal with the stress that you deal with on a daily basis working for the owner. You have the position you have by default, and if your employes werent so afraid of you cutting off thier leads, they would , mutiny at the drop of a hat. Listen to all the people reading this thread, if you want to get out of debt, both companies are great. If you want to work for a company where you can make money, get treated with respect and not have to look at your superior everyday and want to jump out a window because he is so incompetant. Than dont work at United. I have made my point and have spent too much time on this thread. I have nothing more to say cause anyone who has worked at United knows im not being harsh, but i am being truthful and honest. I wish everyone who works on the industry or seeking to resolve thier debts much luck. And if you go work at UNited, chances are your going to say one day...I should have listened to the thread!! God Bless!!
Of course this guy doesnt want to feed a thread that is talking
Of course this guy doesnt want to feed a thread that is talking bad about him, I dont blame him. However, i get the feeling that the guy staking the claims about the United Manager is right, seeing that he doesnt defend one allegation against him. Put one in the win column for the "Guest".

I worked at both places also and hands down Anthony is an awesome manager, however I can't say to much about the short guy with the goatee that is almost bald and speaks like he is from Brooklyn. He completely ruined a call I was on with a consumer talking ever so loud over my cubicle. I almost wonder if he has "short man syndrome" anyway I agree Unified is the company of choice to work for.
Short man Syndrome
The above post my friend where you reference: who is short, going bald and has a severe complex of his height and talks very loud as if he were yelling all of the time is "Your Boss ;)" .
I know they blad guy your talking about, because i worked there.
I know they blad guy your talking about, because i worked there. I am not saying his name. But hes a good guy. One of the bust sales guys at Unified and a stand up guy with a sense of humor and a personality. What is with the people on here being so sensitive and having a problem with people. What happened to MEN? All i see on here is a bunch of lazy people who have a problem with the hard working upper Managment at Unified. Grow a pair, work, and stop being a hater to the sucessful and cinfident people around you.

I cant beleive that you asked if people provide consolidation loans for people with bad credit. I dont know if Unified does, but i will tell you this. When the market is at its best, nobody provides a consolidation loan to someone with bad credit. IF and thats a big IF, someone did, it would have a high int rate, you would be required to pay off and close all debts with the loan. But in this market, someone with an 800 credit score has a hard time getting a loan. I would file chapter 7, or do a settlement, your credit is already bad.

Thanks very much for the information. I have been searching night and day for something other than filing bankruptcy. It really seems like my only hope.

Save yourself some time and money and go with a local counseling agency or call the banks yourself.
Dont listen the Shepps, he doesnt know what hes talking about. C
Dont listen the Shepps, he doesnt know what hes talking about. Calling the banks will do absolutley nothing. They arent going to stop the interest or late fees. They may give you a lower payment but its just goiing to prolong the time your in debt and youll end up paying back alot more than you borrowed (150 %). With a counseling agency you pay back 120%, you only get lower interest and it takes 5 years. Witha settlment you pay back 40-60%. Your out of debt in 3 years or less, and you will be able to rebuild your credit with credit repair in less than 6 months to a year. If you dont want to go with a settlment conmpany, stop paying your cc's put in savings what you were sending them, fall past due, and when you have 35-40% of your balance, call them up and settle your debts on your own. However, you run the risk of legal action. When going with an attorney based debt settlement, you will be much better off in the even of legal action, and will have the resources you need to get out of debt with less of a headache. Also look into the fdcpa and see how you can stop creditors from calling by sending cease and desist letters. Good luck, and somebody stop idiots like shepps. Thank you.
"Guest"
If you stop paying you're bills, you're account at some point, if not already will be sent to a 1, if that collector decides that they want to take you to court with the attorney's permission in most cases a judgment will be placed against against you. Now with a judgment against you, if the collection law office does enough homework and find's out that money is being saved to pay you're creditors, you're bank account that has the money (per jack@ss's advice above) can be frozen (Although he did put a disclaimer there lmao). It is evident that the above person work's for a settlement company, for starters going with an attorney based debt settlement company, pray and hope that there is an attorney on staff that is licensed in you're state to represent you, in more cases than not, that is not the case. Very rarely do you see an attorney that works for a settlement company or even has an ownership interest in a settlement company represent you in court.
I happen to work for a company that offers credit counseling, however it is not for everyone either. Also regarding the fdcpa that stands for (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) the moment you send a cease and desist letter to a bank or agency, it is a flag that they have one last attempt to reach you and then 90% of the time it's going to COURT.
Again call you're banks try and see if they will get you at 0-8% and lower the payments, BUT before that I would recommend going on line and finding a free monthly budget worksheet and getting a snapshot of what your financial condition. If you are upside down then present that to the banks.

Mr Starks, before you jump to conclusions and start insulting people you should know who you are dealing with. I worked for both types of companies; I am a certified credit counselor and also did settlements. I do not work for either anymore. So get your facts straight buddy. And if you know anything about money at all, you would know that in this market, it makes absolutely no sense to give your money to the credit card companies. Filing chapter 7 is best bet. Than settlement. People dont save a dollar monthly by going with a credit counseling program, it looks bad on the credit, and is pointless for someone who needs to get out of debt QUICKLY, as opposed to 5 years. And when the person who is looking for help is done WASTING TIME calling your banks and asking for a 0-8% int rate LMAO and a lower payment, and when you realized they wont help you, file chapter 7 if you qualify, if not SETTLE!!

What's a matter the truth hurt?? I didn't suggest credit counseling either. Do you're homework and then come back to this thread and talk. For your information the banks are bending over backwards right now to work with consumers due to the financial crisis and the bankruptcy index climbing by more than 12% from last year at this time. Telling a consumer to file chapter "7" without looking at crystal clear snapshot of their financial profile is a "moron move". WOW "Certified Credit Counselor" whoo hooo..."So am I" big deal an 8 hour course.
Stop drinking the "Koolaid" and get real with consumers. Then again the almighty dollar will do that to your brain. Did you ever wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and say to yourself "why am I not doing DS or Counseling anymore" haha...Anyway, perhaps maybe you're selling widgets now. **CONSUMERS DO NOT LISTEN TO THE MAN ABOVE**

Perhaps i got out of those 2 industires becuase there are better ways to make money than listening to people who dont have any financial education complain about how its the credit card companies fault that they are in debt. I understand what youre saying, im not saying that the consumer should just go file chapter 7. obviously they may have some assets at risk and a full financial profile would be necessary to
**** the right solution. However, before i negotiate with a bank that is going to possibly get bought out due to financial turmoil, i will take my money else where and rebuild my credit before i spend thousands of dollars paying back debt. The conusmer is going to have a hurt credit rating due to defaulting so whats the sense of paying it all back when you could settle, file for chapter 7, and get credit card offers in the mail weeks later. And by the way, I dont need to do homework, homework is for people who are still in school. I beleive that would be research. stop drinking the bong water and wake up. The country is in a financial crisis. Telling a consumer to avoid settlements when sending minimums to the cc companies could result in less food on the table, is also not a great strategy. Stop bad mouthing settlements and bankruptcy becuase your stuck in a rut selling credit counseling and youre trying to boost your sales. And yes i woke up a while ago and asked myself that, and the answer is because i have mastered the field of credit and decided to move forward and upward in my life instead of remaining stagnant! So why dont you relax with the WOW's the haha's and getting a hard on over a thread. Youre pathetic like the people who blame credit card companies for thier debt, the only difference is you sell people on programs that dont work, who let the almighty dollar get to them noew? Consumers Do not listen to Stephen Sparks, he is just trying to get people to sign up for his program, so he can profit off of your financial problems. If he really cared he would tell you the best way out of debt, spending the least of your hard earned money, than provide you with a plan to let this never happen again, and a way to increase your net worth, instead of ending up in debt all over again, as most americans who listen to people like Sparks often do. Good Luck and god bless.

They are set to come off very soon due to statue of limitations. Perhaps you are one of those poeple who paid all your bills on time your whole life never walked away froma bad debt and still cant get your score over 700, maybe thats why you are still in the credit industry, a little bitter towards credit card companies and consumers like myself who can work the system??

I went to google and typed in this company's information and this is what I found. My wife spoke with them on Wednesday of last week and said that the company promises to reduce our debt by 50-70%. Can someone tell me if that is possible that has worked with this company or a company that is good? Thanks Jim.

The information posted for the AG is for convenience purposes only. The company that is talked about in this thread is located here in Florida. It is not the same Unified Financial Solutions in California.
Acu-Shield
You are wrong. I used to work for Acu-Shield. They do hold client's money. Not new enrollees, but those who were previously enrolled by Debtco, Best Debt, First Choice, and some Fresh Start CA.

I started With Acushield in february. I'm getting summoned to court already. I can't get anyone to call me back from Acushield. At this point, what is Acushield supposed to be doing for me? I just checked and they have a unsatisfactory record at the BBB. I guess I'm going to have to deal with the credit card company myself. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

I've been following this thread for some time and have decided to speak on behalf of the greater good. I believe in loyalty, but beyond loyalty, I believe in doing the right thing. Scamming people out of hard earned money is wrong and everybody knows that.. whether they agree morally or not. I'm not saying that UFS is a scam, maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but just google 'Fabrizio-Colon' and you can see why I'm bringing this to your attention. It looks like there's a lot more to United Financial than on the surface level. Honestly I do NOT know whether or not UFS is legit, and I honestly hope they are. However, my gut tells me that even one complaint to the Better Business Bureau is too many, thats just me. I hope that UFS is 100% legit and committed to helping their clients gain financial freedom, but I guess time will tell.

when i enrolled in there program, i was deeply in debts and today i am still in debts. they failed to do what they said they would do. also i cancelled with them but cannot get my money they owe me. i am considering a lawsuite in federal court.

They actually managed to settle most of my debt but I really had to pound them. I got NONE of the credit counseling or extras that they promise with the program. I also have one account that was not removed from one of the credit agencies. Debtco/accushield seemed to disappear a few years ago and I've not been able to contact them. All the numbers I have for them are disconnected. I'm lucky I didn't get any money stolen from me.
Ripped-Off
I signed on with a Ryan Lousey at Unified Financial Solutions.
Then AcuShield Financial, Global Cient Solutions, and Rocky Mountain Bank & Trust got involved. It's a Big Scam! I've lost thousands. Anybody know Ryan? I'd enjoy meeting him!
