We have been signed up with DMB since 4/2007. They take $1100 a month out of our account. We are clearing a debt of over $45,000. We are winding down to the end of this journey & will soon be debt free! I have had nothing but positive experience with them. Plus they FIX all the bad marks on your credit at the end.

I have been working with DMB Financial and it has truly been the best financial decision I have ever made. For the first time in my life, I feel a sense of financial hope. This is such a gift.

We just finished paying off close to $50,000 through DMB and are finally free of credit card debt!

They were aggressive in negotiating each one of our credit card balances; on average, they were able to settle nearly each account for half of the original balance. And when we were getting collection notices, all we had to do was send those notices over to DMB and they spoke directly to the creditors and collection agencies on our behalf. DMB is associated with the law firm of Matthew Guthrie, so they can flex their legal muscle, if they need to.

So yes, DMB is LEGIT.

If you are in a financial situation where you require assistance from a debt consolidation company like DMB, you have to remember that it will take time (and patience) to pay off all your debts. Yes, your credit rating will take a hit...yes, you may get some nasty court papers. In the end, it's worth being debt-free...which I will take any day over bankruptcy.

I would llike to thank the people at DMB Financial for getting my credit problems resolved a lot sooner than I would have on my own. They are available for any questions or concerns you may have during the duration of the program and do all the work with your creditors so that you don't have to take time off work to do it your self. I started witha 32 month program and finished 5 months sooner than planned. I now have less stress and extra money for myself thanks to DMB Financial.

I'm not a financial planner, so I can't help you with your options. BUT, I have been a victim of DMB's carelessness.
To make a long story short, they rolled a few student loan debts of mine into their "program" that were not supposed to be included (based on the type of loan it was). THEN, they said whoops, and got me dis-enrolled and left me holding the bag of bad credit.
Here is what they should have said when they were trying to sell me the program:
"You will not pay your debts every month, instead you will send the money to us. At some point the banks and credit card companies will get tired of trying to get you on the phone and will send your account to a collection agency. At some point (years down the road) the collection agency will be willing to settle the account for less than the original amount after calling you 2-3 times an hour for a few months . Until then, your credit will be worthless, and your life (and co-signers' lives) will be harassed nonstop."
When I tried to get them on the phone time and again, all I got were voicemails. FINALLY, I was put through to an "account manager." This was one of the coldest people I've ever dealt with in my life. All I wanted at this point was an apology from him/his company for their negligence and it's unbelievably negative impact on my life. He literally said "We have nothing to apology for. You probably racked up a bunch of debt and ruined your credit on your own." He has a special place in hell waiting for him.
Please, please find another option. I wish I could have the years back of stress this company has put me through. Do Not Use Them.
Good Luck
