lvnv sold my account to notherngroup after they sued me

ok back in july. I got sued my lvnv. My lawyer when to court and they couldn't provid any information. (I'm think I paid this debt a long time ago) So the they asked for dismiss. The judge and lawyer sent me a dismiss letter without rejudice. Ok
well yesterday i got a letter in the mail from notherngroup saying that lvnv sold them the account and they are demanding money. i can't call my lawyer until tommorrow

What is my next step?

OK it's northland group not northern.

They also accessed my credit report before they sent the letter to me and after I was sued and dismissed in court by lvnv
