Is Florida leading the way for debt settlement SCAMS? Almost every company I inspect they somehow can be traced to Florida. And for the most part they are all in the same towns. Same goes for those fake trade associations. Why Florida?

Florida , Texas , and California has pretty liberal laws regarding debt settlement and credit counseling companies. That is why you will notice a lot of companies operate in those states good and bad. That doesn't mean all companies that work in those states are bad but yes there are a lot so always do research on a company before doing business with them.
