I posted awhile ago about the fact that I had/have MANY MANY outstanding payday loans. Obviously I was way in over my head. Long story short, closed account and am slowly working at ridding myself of these HORRIBLE things.
Here are some I've worked deals with thus far:
Zip Cash agreed to loan being PIF
PayDay One-both husband and I had loans out-have worked out VERY agreeable payment terms that they spread out over 10 payments every two weeks
Geneva Roth-got them to bring it down from $540 to $300, paid that off today
Loan Shop-LTS Management-had 2 loans out ($130 and $540 owed)-paid the $130 off and and paying $130 every other week on the $540-only have 2 payments left
PayCheck Today (yes, I know they aren't legal)-agreed to arrangement of $180 one time per month for three months, owe 2 more payments
Fast Cash-owe $190-will be paid next Friday
One Step Cash-owe $65-will be paid next Friday
I owe (according to them, not me) Arrowhead $480 but was offered a settlement from NRS of $252 today which I accepted. I just had to laugh though because back in the beginning of Sept. they contacted me and told me the lowest they would go was $372 and it would only go up from there. It has gone down $120.
I feel SSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOO good that these are slowly being paid and I am ridding myself of these HORRIBLE things. For anyone just starting this process of closing bank accounts and defaulting, hang in there. It WILL eventually work out and get better. I was SSSSSSSSOOOOOO overwhelmed when I first closed my account in mid August but am feeling much better now. This site has calmed my nerves many times and I am so thankful and grateful to all of you for your wonderful advice.
I still have Cashnet USA, B & L Marketing (haven't heard boo from them yet), Payday Max/Credit Protection Depot (I'm fighting this one). Everytime they send me an e-mail, I re-send the paperwork. This has been PIF and they owe me $200+ but I don't care about that, I just want a PIF from them. Also have Little Loan Shop (haven't heard boo from them yet), MTE Financial (haven't heard from them yet either) and the last one was United Cash Loans (haven't heard from them yet either).
SO, if you think you had a lot of loans, think again. I don't think I've seen anyone on these boards with this many. I just resolved myself to not worry myself sick over this and take care of these as I can...............
Thank you again to all of you for your support. I'm sure I'll be back with more questions.
Peace to all,
Diane
