Back in 2002 I defaulted on 2 student loans from Sallie Mae. I then rehabbed them successfully. Aren't the negative marks supposed to be taken off my credit report?
The reason I ask is because I'm looking at my credit report and see the original loans marked in the 'negative' category as 'charged off', but then in the 'good' category those same loans appear.

Only the tradelines reported by your guarantor are required to deletethe negative. Your lender/servicer is under no obligation to change their tradeline.
