Letters sent to PDL and no responses!!

this will work one of two ways i know of.

they will not contact,but assign your account to a collection agency.
if they are not licensed they will just lay back before deluging you with calls and e-mails.

based on my experience those two things happened with me.
i'm sure there are other scenarios.others should be along to share there info on the matter.until then,enjoy the silence it won't last.

I have to agree with Paul........the silence will not last forever. Just keep on your toes and resend letters when they do call.

thank you, i knowits too good to be true they are not contacting me. Should i wait a certain amount of time maybe and resend the letter, like a couple of wks? I dont want them to send it on to collection, which im sure nothing is stopping them even if i do pay them.

My advice is to watch your credit report............they may try to report it as a bad debt.

Hello, same thing happened to me. I expected a nightmare of calls all at once, but did not hear anything for awhile. I did have a company completely vanish from me (since late March/early April) but wouldn't be surprise if they resurface. They do wait and usually will end up calling, just stay strong for when they do call. Some companies are better than others though. I have had some that stuck to email once I told them not to call. As long as everything's straight on your end, do not worry about it.

That is what i am waiting for them all to start calling and not stopping the calls,
may i ask which one did you never hear from and did you pay them the full principal?

I had the same thing, several of the companies I was dealing with, one of which I had way overpaid, dropped off the face of the earth and haven't bothered my at all (knock on wood). Hopefully it stays that way

I bombarded them with the same emails, over and over every day, that got their attention! I was asked to stop sending emails, that pretty much confirmed they received them, which was all I wanted. :lol:

Oh yes, they actually responded and demanded that I cease and desist sending them emails. I almost fell off my chair, but at least I got the confirmation I was seeking, which was a response that they received my wage assignment revocation, etc.! :lol:
