I'm very disappointed that BOTH candidates voted for the bailout yesterday ... those companies should have been left to struggle or go bankrupt, a choice that the average American has to make. It's a joke and I dread the upcoming years.

Both options suck in my opinion. I would rather have someone like Ron Paul who hasn't sold out, has never voted to raise taxes , never voted for an unbalanced budget ,has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership ,has never voted to raise congressional pay , has never taken a government-paid junket , has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program , and returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year. It just sucks they way the system is now because it is so expensive to run for president a politician has to sell out in order to get the money donated from the big companies to afford to compete.

Yeah, all I can say is make sure you do vote! Not telling you who to vote for, just look at the candidates, the issues, their stance on said issues, make an informed decision, and then go out and vote.
And don't even get me started on the "bailout" smo65d11, I'm really irritated about this whole issue. I just wish I could get some sort of government bailout to get me out of my economic mess.
Never happen, though.
Anyone here old enough to remember the old "Vote for Bill" thing from the late 80's? Bill the Cat from that comic strip "Bloom County?" Had Opus the Penguin in it?
I'm almost ready to "Vote for Bill" at this point.
I used to love that strip!
