Scammed by PDL Assistance

You need to go directly to your bank, speak with the Branch Manager, and fill out a dispute on the money which was debited from your account!

Actually PDL Assistance has a an OK reputation with the BBB. The BBB says "The company has been responsive to any complaints brought to its attention by the Bureau." You obviously signed a contract and provided them with your bank info to allow them to draft their fee. How much time did you give them to cancel your account before the ACH draft payment was due. I know the owner of PDL Assistance" I know him throw mutual friends and TASC conferences " and he is a stand up kind of guy and if there is a mistake that was their fault I am sure they will take care of it.

I did contact them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was also informed that I was cancelled plus no money would not be taken out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've filed a complaint with the BBB and before those "14" complaints, I saw 64 complaints with an unsatisfactory rating!!!!!!! You tell the owner that I've consulted with an attorney!!!

i also looked up PDL assistance and see not near the complaints you say guest.maybe got a different company?mobile knows his stuff.i looked because he stood up for this place.please guest,don't post derogatory things without something to back it up.

Ok lets get the facts strait. The company's BBB report you looked up was most likely is Fidelity Reserves Corp which has the same address because PDL Assistance is owned by the same person. Fidelity Reserves Corp used to be owned by a different owner but sold the business to the current owner. Almost all of the 64 or so complaints were under the helm of the previous owner and all of them have been resolved. If you truly are a client and have an issue with them feel free to private message me and I will look into this for you. I can simply call him and see whats going on and see if I can escalate a resolution for you.

I spoke with someone from there yesterday and she was pretty pissed because I told her I couldn't make my initial payment until next week. I didn't like her attitude about it, so therefore I've decided not to go though with them.

Don't do business with PDL Assistance, they are ripp off artist. Here's a copy of letter sent to BBB in South Alabama:

Dear Ms. BBB REP:

Thank you for taking some of your busy time to hear my case. In response to PDL Assistance???s explanation and settlement offer. Such offer is not fully satisfactory and it???s unacceptable.

Since PDL takes these matters seriously I was really hoping that they would go back into their log books and see that absolutely nothing was performed in my case, except for withdrawals taken from my checking account, no calls were made on my behalf; false promises were made from the start; Walitha Gordon (ext. 7223) lied to me by saying that their fees would only be $200, when in fact it would be a lot more; I received no courtesy status calls as they had promised; every time I called PDL, I was put on hold for more than 20 to 30 minutes; PDL failed to adjust my monthly fee even after I had taken the fourth creditor out of the program; PDL withdrew money from my account on the wrong date because they failed to listen to my instructions causing a NSF from my bank account and when I called PDL to ask them why they had done that, PDL refused to reimburse the $35 fee; After doing a online research, I found out that PDL has a bad reputation and has a tendency to cheat people of their money. I am not a happy customer, and will not settle for less than my total refund. PDL can proceed to send me the LESS THAN 1/3 settlement offer but I will consider this matter still open and unpaid until the remainder is fully satisfied. I am giving PDL an opportunity to make this right, before I consider taking other means of legal action against them. I am not asking for anything that does not belong to me, all I want if my money back.

PDL is a rip off company and when I paid the $200.00 I changed my mind because I had to go to the bank and do all of the work myself and 3 days had not past and they would not refund my $200.00, then hthe manager COLLIN said if I continue the program for 6 months it would have cost me what I could have paid the loans off for. I feel if you change your mind and you do have that right they should refund something how are they going to keep your moneuy they know you are in debt so they are ripping you off to !! I was cheated out of $200.00 dollars and got nothing but alot of papers sent to my email!!DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!

Note* dont waist your time with PDL, They promise me the world with my payday loans and i recieved nothing in return. They sent me over a whole lot of paperwork, which i had to do all the footwork, next They set me up on a 6month payment plan and assured me i will be debt free after this time period. What i got in return? My payday loans sent to collections, me paying off my payday loans in full with the collections compay. What did PDL get! over a thousand dollars from me, forceing me and my family deeper into debt and filling my head with alot of empty promises. they are a scam, i dont know how the people and the owner sleep at night, well i guess after the amount of people they scam. Dont waste your time with PDL, worked out something with your payday loan co, or if worst the collection co. PDL pray on the unfortunate and disperate, They are a big scam. Please, please people dont waste your time with PDL,please for your sake and your family.

I work for a payday advance company in Florida. We have state laws which keep the fees here fair and only allow a customer to have one payday advance out at a time! The company I work for is not an online payday advance. If you are having trouble you should just call the company and they will work out payments that you can afford! Dont throw your money away to a company that can deliver what they offer!!! Trust me if you have a payday loan with a company that is not online, they will work with you!

You got yourself into this mess and you must continue to help to get yourself out of it. I don't work for PDL but I believe in them. I am giving my last pymt this month and they have delivered as promised, but I have been active in the process. They have managed to settle all 10 of my loans for fractions of what it would have cost me to do it on my own. You got to follow the steps, like a recovering alcholic or drug addict, you must have PATIENCE. Don't do the crime if you aint's got the time. Good luck to you all.

The $200 enrollment fee is pretty much worth it. I've got 3 months left on my program. It takes a while but it's nice to have someone deal with the problems I've made. I followed their instructions and I called at least once a month. Every time I've called, the people I talked to where always nice. I even received scam calls from people who stole my information from those pay day loan websites and I called PDL about it wondering why I have people calling to threaten to take me to court and PDL advised me on the scams and pointed the right direction to research on the types of scams there are.
