Is there a way to get out from under the payday loan treadmill legally without going to court or being fined? I need help!


Thank you alias1958 very much. I live in Pennsylvania. (1) Maghum Cash Advance--Internet--Borrowed>$1473.00--Have paid over $3000.00 in fees. (2) CashNet USA--Internet--Borrowed>$1500.00--Have paid back over$1500 in fees. (3) Star Advance--Internet--Borrowed>$300.00--Have paid back over $180 in fees (4) Ameriloan--Internet--Borrowed>$350--Have paid back $420 in fees. I appreciate any help that you can offer me. Thank you again.

Basically, PA allows internet lenders to legally lend if they are licensed in any US state.

According to that same thread, CashNet USA is legal, but ameriloan is not. Therefore, you will need to work out payment arrangements with CashNet USA, but you have overpaid Ameriloan. There is also information in that thread about how you can handle the illegal lenders.

I'm not sure about Magnum Cash Advance or Star Advance. Hopefully, someone else will come along who can help with those. You can also do a search for those companies by typing their name in the search box in the upper right corner.
