Ok I know i have been asking ALOT of questions, But I have one more....My atty wants me to close my bank account, Is there any other way? I use it for many things. I know he doesn't want the pdls cashing any checks. Any advice?

you can try a hard debit block on the account, but that means that nothing will be able to come out, even stuff that is paid automatically. Unfortunately the easiest way it to close the account so the pdl's no longer have access to your money. It was hard for me too because I had so much stuff that was automatically debited, but I m anaged to make it go smoothly & with little disruption...

Just close the account. It isn't yours anymore. It belongs to your pdl's.

Getting into the payday trap is easy. You can sit at a computer and money magically appears in your account the next day. Getting out is going to cause you some inconvenience. You're going to have to close the account. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. And you're going to have to deal with collection calls. THESE GUYS DON"T CARE ABOUT YOUR fdcpa rights. But if you do what you have to do, I promise it WILL BE WORTH THE HASSLE.
