Think Cash

Ok, so Monday I e-mailed think cash and told them to cancel the ach that was scheduled for wednesday october 8. I told them I would work out a payment arrangement with them, but that there were not enough funds for the debit. They e-mailed me back that they could not locate account information for the e-mail I supplied. I immediately went to the sight and logged in with the same e-mail, and there was all the account information!
I sent another e-mail with a fax stating that the account information was present and the e-mail was valid and that I was cancelling the ach for wednesday. I haven't had time to get to the bank and close the account. My question is, if they debit the account like I'm sure they are going to, is there anything my bank can do since I sent them in writing a cancellation of the ach? I'm going to close the account tomorrow (have a day off work finally!) and hopefully they will work with me. I have Bank of America. :? This whole thing is driving me crazy! Hopefully soon, I will be out of this pdl hell!

Even though you sent Think Cash an email to stop the ACH, you probably should have went to your bank and put a stop payment on the ACH as well. I believe banks need roughly 3 business days to stop an ACH from coming through.
As far as what your bank can do to you, I'm not sure. They might charge you NSF fees. If they do, and the fees overdraw your account, they probably won't close the account until you bring it to a positive balance.
