I have read a lot on this site and all of you have alot of very helpful advice.I have a few payday loans out that i am in process of trying to clear up. i live in new york.
webpayday 719 remaining
united cash 430 remaining
1 click cash 510 remaining
ameriloan 306 remaining
I know how incredibly to stupid it was to get involved with in the first place, but this is where I am. I've began by doing what some of you have said and closed my account that was associated with them. I have payments set up with ameriloan for half one day and the other two weeks later. My question is have any of you had any success eliminating these on your own schedule. what i mean by that is if i take care of ameriloan this month then move on to another next and so on for the next 3 months. So i'm wondering if any of you have been able to push these people off for that long?

i saw and answered your other question.now i need an answer from you.

how much borrowed from each pdl?

these loans are prohibited in NY.you only owe the principal borrowed.please answer that question.we can help you here.

good, now one more thing.this might take longer, but i need this info.

how much was paid to these pdl's include fees and/or rollovers.

you see.these places being illegal and all every fee they charged was illegal and counts toward the loan.so find out how much if anything was debited from your account from these places. thanks.

yes try to make payments for the principal only.these places will say some outragous things.you did nothing wrong.they broke the law lending where it's illegal to lend.if all else fails let your AG know.at least they can try to make these pdl's see reason.

exactly right.you owe what they borrowed you.not a penny more my friend.that goes for all your pdl's too.just be prepared to get the NY AG on this, because these places are illegal.they know it and don't care.they will try to get you to give current bank info, threaten you stupidly, and tell you they are legal.it is all HOGWASH.do not believe a word of what they say. we'll talk tomorrow.i'm sure someone else can answer any questions till
then.just relax knowing you are taking steps to get rid of these places before they really take hold.

I've read alot of stuff on here about filing with the ag, what do i need to do to that, what do i need to file? Should i let these places know that i have done it? Has anyone had success by letting them know that this was done and that you were only going to pay them the amount that was borrowed? or has anyone told them that they were only paying the amount borrowed?

start by letting them know you intend to pay,but realized they are illegal in NY.therefore you need an address to send a money order.once they know that and they get nasty.then you
file the AG complaints.i don't know about NY,but some states like mine illinois you can file online.it's simple really the forms are on the do-it-yourself section on top right of this page.
