Hi there,
If a person has a credit card but the account is closed, and you are still making payments does the score get raised if you make on time payments, or is that only for accounts that are open? I would appreciate any and all help. Thanks

I don't think making payments on closed credit card account will improve your score. Charged off account remains in your credit report for 7 years from the date of first delinquency.

As long as you are carrying a balance, it may increase your Vantage score but any lender besides a CC that reviews your reports might consider it a negative.
